What a perfect union of the physiology and the spirit this book has. While it agrees with recent "discoveries" about the benefits to the autonomic nervous system of good breathing, this ancient wisdom goes far beyond just the mechanics of breathing. It also deals with the idea that breathing is far more important than just the delivery of oxygen.

Five hours later I am feeling terrific. There is alot to be said about breathwork

Starting reading my book. I was experiencing sciatic pain. As I read and practiced some breath work I noticed my pain disappeared! Five hours later I am feeling terrific. There is slot to be said about breathwork. The book is interesting, informative and techniques for beginners as well. Highly recommend it!
